| Bio: | abstractism was originally a RP journal used in the much loved GreatestJournal game Academie for the character Sybill Trelawney. She was the art teacher and quite an eccentric one at that. But as the game has well come to an end, I decided to put it to better use. Thus, abstractism icons has come to be. Like most PB icon journals, it will be resource of icons to be used by either role players or the general public. I've accumulated a number of characters and PBs over the years I've been RPing, but unfortunately never placed them in a proper storage area, which this will also be. Any icons here are either in use, are currently in use or were potential PB ideas that I have lingering in the back of my mind. I generally don't take requests because I really just don't have the time to work on requests, but if you can't find a PB somewhere or have pictures and just don't have the resources, I may be able to help if I can. I don't want a person to have to wait for icons because of me! The rules are simple and are pretty much found all over the place at every icon makers journal: ONE) While comments are not required, credit is. Sure cropping a picture down to 100x100 with or without borders may not seem like a big deal to some, but most of the time those of us making icons work to crop the picture to an acceptable size and resolution so that the picture itself maintains a level of clarity and clearness and we try and keep them grainless as possible. They may also have various effects (glow, blur, digital noise removal, color editing...etc) applied to them which can take quite some time to get "right" so to speak. Crediting is appreciated and respectful. Plus it makes icon makers very, very happy inside.
